The Story Behind POPSEWING: A boyfriend’s Love and a Dream

Every meaningful brand starts with a heartfelt story, and POPSEWING is no different. It began with Benjamin, our founder, and a special birthday gift for his girlfriend, Arabela.

Benjamin wanted to make something one-of-a-kind: a hand-stitched leather tote bag for his girlfriend. He soon found leather crafting far more complex than he expected, and the birthday gift was delayed. But he refused to give up, spending late nights practicing stitches and refining every detail until the bag was complete.

When Arabela saw the finished bag, her tears of joy said it all. In that moment, Benjamin realized handmade items are more than objects—they are a quiet, loving promise: I cared enough to make this for you. That spark turned into a mission, and POPSEWING was born to make leather crafting easy, accessible, and joyful for everyone.
