The mini Kylie is perfect for special ocassions when you only need your phone and a small wallet.

I recently made this bag using the Popsewing DIY Advanced Kit, and I’m absolutely delighted with the result!

I was impressed by the quality of the materials: the leather is beautiful, with an elegant grain and excellent structure, and all the hardware feels solid and well-finished. Every component is carefully prepared, making the experience both reassuring and very professional, even for someone who is not an expert craftsperson.

The instructions are clear, detailed, and thoughtfully designed. The process requires precision and a bit of patience, but that’s exactly what makes the project so rewarding.
Assembly is smooth, the cuts are clean, and everything fits together perfectly, although it requires patience and application to achieve beautiful and smooth edges. Additional nails for square hardware would be most appreciated as they are very very small, difficult to install and easy to loose in case you drop it….

The final result exceeded my expectations: the bag is sturdy, chic, and perfectly functional.
I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to take on a demanding yet accessible leathercraft project, with truly impressive results.

I m not sure why this more expensive one doesn’t come with a lock. A bit disappointed 😔

I loved making this handbag. It was quite advanced, and it took me about six weeks to finish (although I do have a 9 month old). I’m so proud of it. The materials and leather are nice quality. I already ordered two more kits and can’t wait to apply what I learned making my first one to those.

I did make some mistakes with the handle, and the Popsewing team were so helpful and sent me replacement parts immediately. My tools kit was also missing the punching iron and the team shipped me one asap when I realized. There was a few times I had to reach out during the process of making the purse, and the ladies who responded were all so kind and helpful. A+ for customer service. FYI you do need to buy your own leather glue and edge paint, the kit does not come with it - these things are easily found on Amazon though!

The one critique I have is that the tutorial videos are not detailed enough for beginners. This bag is complex and you have to figure out a lot by yourself. If you are new to working with leather like I was, that can make this really hard. I ended up having to watch some other videos on YouTube to figure some details out but it all ended up coming together in the end.

Love the color and love the fact that I get to make it!
