This is my second mini eveline kit- my first was green with silver and this time around I did the orange with gold hardware! Love the challenge and result of this bag even the second time around. I did have minor issue with one of the materials but popsewings customer service is second to none and they helped me figure out a fair solution. Highly recommend this kit if you want an intermediate challenge.

This is a deceptively tricky bag. A simple structure, but keeping the binding, the side and the body of the bag aligned will keep you focused! However when you’re done it’s a great easy use practical cross body bag, and you’ll appreciate all the effort you put in to get it done.

I was working with the company on a custom kit, but ended up ordering 2 kits and making 2 mirror image bags. (One black and taupe and one taupe and black.) I am always impressed with the materials. Nice full grain leather that has some heft to it. I was excited that they separated out the colors for me! The mini bag is small. Large enough for a phone, card holder, lip balm, maybe some keys or a glasses case. I wanted something small this time, but if you carry more like I usually do, the 29 is the way to go. Overall I love my bag and it will be great for little trips where I don’t need the kitchen sink with me.

This bag was very different from the other kits I completed in that the sewing holes were slits and barely visible unless stretched. It took me much longer to complete but boy was it worth it! The leather is superior quality and the tutorial was very helpful. I chose vert criquet green with silver and really enjoyed the process and final project. Highly recommend however know this bag will take more patience and effort to sew.

I’m really impressed by this bag. Daugher loves it. The leather, hardware and sewing is very nice. I’ve now ordered the 29 version for myself :)

This is the perfect size crossbody bag and the quality of the leather is beautiful. The sewing takes a bit more skill than the regular DIY bags but I loved the first one I did so much that I ordered it in 2 more colours.

This one took a very long time to complete due to issues with the kit. Ultimately, customer service came through for me, and I was able to complete a bag that I’m satisfied with. I finished the edges with brown Edgekote, and I stitched my bag with white thread.

The full grain leather mini Evelyne bag is absolutely stunning 🤩 I can judge because I own one from the originally company… and she was so much fun to sew 🪡 🧵

Not easy to put together stitching holes were hard to find at first. The finished bag is very nice though.

The vert comic color is bright and popping. The grain of the leather is soft and nice texture.

I love this purse!!💕 it is the perfect size for phone, wallet, and glasses. I use it as a secondary purse if I don’t want to take a big bag!

I ordered the bag about 5 weeks in advance of when I needed it. I paid extra for expedited shipping. I heard nothing. I repeatedly asked about it. I then got a note that they were off for Lunar NY holidays. I ordered the bag several weeks in advance of that. Was not told there were any shipping issues. I finally got the kit the week after I needed it to make for a gift for a friend's birthday.
I love the kits, and have made several. The customer service is really lacking.
I want to order a premade bag for a trip at the end of the month but I don't trust their shipping to get it on time.

Pretty easy to construct, but sewing ability needed for these to look nice. Take your time and set out all the supplies and you'll have fun and produce something beautiful.

I absolutely loved making this bag! It took like 10 min to get used to where the pre done holes were to sew, but once I got used to it the sewing was quite easy. The video tutorial was easy to follow even though it wasn't in English, but the subtitles made it easy to understand.
Customer service was top notch!!
My mom loved my bag so much she wants me to make one for her for Christmas, and I'll definitely sneak one in for myself.
