This is my 6th DYI kit from Popsewing and one of my favorites. I would not recommend this as a first time kit as it contains slightly different sewing methods beyond the basic saddle stitch that the other kits I did prior required. Because I had some experience, I was able to figure out the parts of the tutorial that were a bit vague. The result is stunning! The details, hardware, materials are all premium. This bag is a true classic & timeless beauty! 5 stars!

It is nice to see a kit for a practical item rather than just a toy. Both my teenage daughters wanted this one. I may have to buy an extra one so they can both have one.

This one is hard especially if you are starting off. I mixed up the front and back of the big leather pieces since they are NOT marked. You need to be careful. I missed holes and needed to redo some seams but you get better as you go. I ordered other bags after and they get easier. She is definitely a classic beauty. I've since order more DIY kits and finished bags. These are addictive!!

I was in need of new white handbag and decided to give the Jackie bag DIY Kit a go as I had never worked with leather before. I was thrilled with the quality of the materials provided, the care with which the packaging is provided and the ease of following the video tutorial to construct the bag. It did not take long to get used to the sewing technique and the result was a delightful handbag that I have used many times. Also like that it comes with two different length handles so you can adjust to suit your taste or outfit.

This is the first kit I bought after seeing them advertised for a while. I bought it to make as a gift for a friend. The leather is buttery soft and so beautiful. I’m really pleased with how it turned out - so now I want to buy one to make for myself!

This pattern was packed well, and we were surprised how nice it is for the price. The color is beautiful. We got the the tutorial video very quick and it was clear and helpful. Very happy with this purchase.

Honestly, had such a fun experience making it! As someone who usually enjoys sewing dresses and crocheting, this was a completely different challenge for me, but in the best way. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves DIY crafts or wants to try something new.

The bag was relatively quick to make, but pay attention. It is deceptively simple but easy to mess up. They provide plenty of thread, so don't hesitate to start over.

Perfect Christmas present, quick customer service especially with holiday season, instructions easy to follow. But happy I started with easier bags to start.

Some parts of the video are too confusing for beginners.

Bought this for a present and very tempted to keep it myself, will have to get myself one, great material and highly recommend

I had a lot of fun making this bag. It was easy to create our own Project and Was not too messy. The the items were nicely made and made for a beautiful creation

The kit is fantastic! Easy to follow, even for first time sewists. Amazing quality leather.

The instructions are easy even for a beginner. You just have to take a little bit of your time and boom perfect bag ! I offered it to my mom and she was amazed by the result. She really thought I bought it in a store. I’m so glad I bought this DIY kit !

This was the very first model I tried after discovering Popsewing. I am now about to finish my eight project and am about to place another order….To me, this is a relaxing way to spend an evening, or two… Instead of knitting another sweater I know I will never wear I get a beautiful bag! The quality is amazing, everything is neatly packed and you receive everything you need to complete your bag in the kit. Don’t hesitate!
