Very pleased with communication, materials, and final product. Having the item sewn increased time to receive but completely worth the wait.

Leather strip was too short

Unfortuantely, as I havé rend it in another comment, I also noticed that one of the leather strips was two holes too short. Also the instructions were really unclear compared to other videos I have followed.
In the end I am a bit sas because all this faulty strip is all I can see when I look at this bag so I have never used it. Maybe I need some time.

Gorgeous leather and bag

But it is definitely not the bag for a beginner. The video is not step by step, nor do they tell you the basics (like how much thread you will need per seam). Took a bit to figure out, but it was worth it!

Love this bag!

The leather is excellent quality. With all of the little stitches it probably took me 15 hours to finish. The instructions are really challenging if you don’t complete the mini version first. Even though I have calluses on my fingers, I can’t wait to make the other one that I have ordered. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful bags

Love this bag!

Not Happy with this bag. :-(

First I want to start with all the good things. The leather is beautiful. I purchased the Blue Jean Evelyn 29 kit and the color is gorgeous. All the hardware is top notch. It's not an easy bag to work on but I was up to the challenge. Here are the bad thing; all the top piping leather strips are 1cm too short. I counted all the holes before I sewn, and the leather piping strips did not line up. The instruction video shown that the piping strips are even longer so you can cut if off. Well not on my bag. Also the instruction video shown the Evelyn Mini, not the Evelyn 29, but I managed to figure it out. Popsewing, if you read this, please check your pattern, because I notice the same thing on other reviewers' pictures too, the top piping leather strips are SHORT.

Absoluter Spaß zu fertigen

Inspired Evelyn bag

I bought and sewed my 2nd bag kit. It was very demanding, but everything was very well prepared. The result is impressive and is in no way inferior to an Evelyne. It won't be my last bag from Popsewing.

The finished product is gorgeous!

This Evelyn 29 kit was harder than the mini Evelyn kit but definitely worth efforts. Good quality materials, plenty of thread, and a product I'm happy to wear and use.

Leather strip was too short

Nice large size

It took me quite some time to finish this bag due to the number of stitches. Very pleased with the result.

Not up to what I was hoping for

I ordered the full grain Evelyn 29 CM. It took quite a long time to get here and it is missing one of the pieces of the shoulder strap. It’s now almost 3 weeks later and while they had a week of Chinese holiday, nothing done about it. The quality the leather is not up to the standard that I feel was advertised as full grain. Full grain in this leather has a different texture inside. Super nice people that run this, and I believe they intend to make it right but very disappointed so far.

The bag turned out well. The color I chose is pretty and springlike. I wouldn't recommend it to a total beginner. I'm very pleased.
