Great bag for beginner bag maker

Loved making this bag as one of my first hand made bag kits. Even though the instruction video wasn’t in English, it was still easy to follow and the outcome is a lovely, practical bag

The Her Zip DIY Bag Kit produces a Beautiful Bag!!

I ordered the Leather Inspired Her Zip bag DIY kit, it was one of the most beautiful bags I’ve made so far. The instructional video was easy to follow. The construction process was relaxing and fast. I would strongly recommend adding this bag to your collection!

Perfect!

Super fun to put together, good quality, (I feel, as a total handbag noob). I wish the tutorial was a bit clearer on determining the inner/outer sides of the pieces, but it wasn't too difficult.

Great bag for work!

This is the second project I completed and it took no more than 2 evenings! This bag may be even sturdier than the original, with hard stamped leather forming the majority of the bag instead of canvas. My old 24/24 29cm insert fits perfectly.

My dream came true

I Wish I could describe the feeling once you finish last stitch and then you assemble it all. Material seems durable - size is perfect (not big nor small). I will be ordering more designs as I would like to build up my timeless bag collection fully DIY’ed ✌🏻🥰✌🏻

Attractive bag

This was the sixth Popsewing bag I have completed.

It was fun to assemble. The most difficult part was trying to slip the small piece of leather through the central metal post to secure it. I eventually worked it through the hole enough to secure it but I could not get it all the way into place until I got hemostat pliers.

The bag is very sturdy and on the heavy side. While it is a good size, the style of latch limits the amount of vertical space. This latch relies on the friction of feeding the two narrow straps through the metal post. This combined with the stiffness of the leather of the closing flap makes it a bit tricky to close without 2 hands and a table. It may become easier as it is broken in.

One of the best yet!

This is my fourth PopSewing bag and one of the best looking yet! As with all of the kits you receive all that you need, a video instruction, and a friendly sales associate available at your fingertips via WhatsApp. At one point I was certain that I was doing it wrong so I reached out for help. I very quickly heard back that I was doing great and encouragement on the rest of the bag. I've got three more bags ordered, this just might be an addiction!

Just finished my HER bag (my 7th popsewing project) and I must say the bag is even nicer “in real”! The color is very rich and the bag has a very elegant look. As usual I’m so happy with this model and the assembly is fun and easy to do.
